I wrote Hydrogeena to support the setting up of a hydrogen based economy. I believe hydrogen is a fantastic resource for the future of mankind's energy needs.

The problems related to the storage and use of hydrogen need to be addressed urgently so this amazing carrier of energy can be brought to the forefront of the public's imagination.

"Hydrogeena"

She's part of you, part of me,
She's in the sky, she's in the sea
She's an elegant solution and a stimulating tease
She's volatile and dangerous. mysterious and cool
Constantly surprising us, she changes all the rules
Turning away her gaze, she vanishes without a trace

Life's a gas,
She said “I'm so glad you understood”
We can be lovers, we can be friends
Holding out together for the common end.

Lavoisier, he lost his head, when he
Dared to call her by her name, he said
“Hydrogen?”, she said “It's Hydrogeena!”
She's got a personality that bites
Treat her with respect or you can
Say goodnight, no shades of gray,
It's black or white.

Life's a gas,
She said “I'm so glad you understood”
We can be lovers, we can be friends
Holding out together for the common end.

She's courted by men of perception
Who know it all, but she's the exception
Spotlight shines, she takes the stage
Leading lady in in a celestial play

Life's a gas,
She said “I'm so glad you understood”
We can be lovers, we can be friends
Holding out together for the common end.
